Our Story:  After receiving a handwritten card unexpectedly from a friend, we came to the realization that nothing replaces the feeling of knowing someone took time to write us a message with their own hands.  Handwriting is an age-old process that is increasingly rare in today’s digital world.  But the act of writing still creates the same human to human connection it has for ages.  

We’ve all sent the mindless “Happy Birthday” text which falls flat, typically means little to the recipient, and only does a good job of showing you forgot about someone’s birthday until a moment ago.  A handwritten card involves planning, meaningful thought, and conveys your unique personality.  We go to the store less and are becoming more engrained in digital life every day.  All of which make sending cards difficult.  

So we created Elephant Cards to foster more meaningful connections with our friends and family while decreasing the stress of remembering important dates on-time or wasting time and money driving all over town for cards and postage.  Being thoughtful has never been so easy.
